Jarad Gallagher will man the kitchen when Oakland’s Lake Chalet opens in August.

Lake Chalet will be the first East Bay outpost for Gar and Lara Truppelli, who also own Beach Chalet and Park Chalet in San Francisco.

Located in the Pumphouse Building on the shores of Lake Merritt, the restaurant will have 325 seats inside and 100 seats outside.
